I thought offline raiding was banned in official servers.
The clan i play with on this server was raided when none of us were online.
Ive sent an email already into funcom detailing bugs, and server issues but it really seems that they really don’t care at all.
If your going to play this server, don’t bother.
It isn’t monitored.

Why would offline raiding be monitored? I don’t play on pvp, but even I don’t see the sense in that. Some people can just log in at odd and off hours and avoid it altogether if that were the case. Seems silly to put that rule in place. Yeah, it sucks I’m sure, but that’s the risk involved with people that prefer to raid without much fighting.
If given only a week to have fun on CE, would you cheat as much as possible to get the most bang for the buck? And, would you stand-by and watch as others fail? That is the attitude of players that can server jump over and over. This is the tolerant side.
I have run into one clan that almost made sure I was online. Not quite a feat when all other times when raided those clans have been an offline, rag-tag.

Yeah this is going to be a DBD thread here soon.
But to the OP, no there is no protection to your base within the raid time. It is completely up to you and your clan to do so or find other means to ensure your base isn’t hit (like stealth builds)
It basically already is and I think we all know where the majority of us are with it.

It’s been talked about a lot and you’d be surprised how many people want a version of dbd to be turned on for official servers.
Again it’s been talked about a ton but why you’re describing is player vs base not player vs player. In other words in the pvp world this can otherwise be described as pve on a pvp sever.

There is no offline raiding. Go play private rp server if you do not want to play officials pvp …
And this is exactly why I prefer to play PvE. I don’t like fighting other players, and I really don’t need to deal with people that feel that way as well, yet still decide to raid others. 
my form of “raiding” involves finding a decayed base and looting it before anyone else can.
