Couldn’t remember my login and had to create a new one to reply.

Diso here from Bug Busters on RK2 (although I never had the toon called Diso, that was someone else). My main toons around 2005 were DisoDoctor, Spdiso, Tykki. Then later Disofixer, Rakentaa, Rakentaminen, SymbTrader.

Mainly stuck with org mates, Euss, Ninor, Kahiri, Darksister, Widmo, Zolurissa, Stor, Scharianna, Tontze, Lefunk, Fraaag, Sleepner Eupalinus.

Probably haven’t actually logged in now in over a year, but I actually still pay for two accounts because I never want AO to die, and I know I will always come back.

I came into Anarchy Online, server RK2, back in 2003, right off the back of The Sims Online. In that era of my life, the concept of an MMO was still new to me, and I didn’t know what I was doing. I made a Clan agent named Zerofactor, and immediately joined some clan that was hanging out in Athen on that little hill of grass. I think they gave me like 1 million credits, which I promptly used to grab a black trenchcoat (which was a good chunk of the money they gave me). They were pretty upset with me, but … again, I didn’t know what the concept of an MMO was. I just wanted to chat, hangout, and look cool at the time. Level up? What’s that?

Shortly thereafter, I met someone named Aulial, Omnitech side, and we decided to make characters together. I made a Trader named Nuhmudiira (which I still have today), and he made a Metaphysicist. We founded the corporation The Darkness Nova, which eventually became Darkness Nova.

We played together for about a year, or maybe 8 months, and I got to level 190. Watched him obsessively camp over really rare items, some of which I still don’t have.

At some point, we had a falling out and I don’t even remember what the reason was, but he booted me from our corporation.

So, I joined Peace $ Love, Inc., and he eventually changed the name of Darkness Nova to Quantum Order.

Later, he left the game for good to go play City of Heroes, and I lost my drive to play (that was half my corporation, dude!)

Fast forward 20 years, and my Trader is 211 (still not there to 220! haha will take any help I can get), I’ve found my way back into Quantum Order via the person who runs it now, and I play on a relatively new NT named Katogenn.

Some names I can remember that I never see anymore, aside from Aulial:

PaxCorpus
Tchaala
Uaintseenme (I actually sent this guy a friend request on Discord, but I guess he never checks his requests!)

And that’s it, I actually can’t remember the multitude of other people I met.

But these were good times, probably the best times.

Hello!! Doctahtran/Tyrade here! Used to play back on RK2, started not long after Alien Invasion released.

Been a long time since I’ve lurked around and nice to see some forums not locked!

I played a lot in '05-'09 and briefly came back in 2013.

I started playing with my brother and a friend back then. We each made an engineer, soldier, and bureaucrat respectively. For the life of me I cannot recall the names they used even looking back on auno. We made Omni-Blades back then, held our own even being quite small and maintained some value of respect?¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Sometime after my departure the org was renamed to Rocknroll Commandos, likely by Egads because that’s just a thing he’d do.

Kitingfool/Egads/Debaucherat though. I’ll never forget him. Fun memories and chats with him. I wish teenage me could’ve appreciated his feisty attitude and wit.

Docdocdoc and FitBrit were some nice guys to have in the org. Wise blokes from what I recall.

Some names that do come to mind though!

Stirb - The German engi that I idolized.

Dfens - A fun NT that hung out in Bor a lot. Was f2p/vanilla for most the years we played.

Battlearmor - One of THE soldiers, dude was cool too.

Iceagent - Not a positive. Most egotistical agent ever. His account was handy when he left tho…

Blkknight2 - Bor grid chill regular.

And I’m sure there’s more! 20 years is quite a long time and I got a headache remembering so much.

Most names i recognize upper here were RK2 omnis i fought prior to 2013 (as i stopped any PVP due to server merge …).
I also could list some old gamers i lack ingame, but most would be french community people that mostly played in orgs like mine (Code/Dragon) & many more (ACF, LRF, Ph, LM, LCO, FDA, etc).
They are now gone for good, but i don’t feel the kind of nostalgia making you sad or bitter … i’d rather like to see AO curated and cared of to keep it going, even with lower numbers.
So far we maintain enough people to cover most high level raids, and some family-sized org for the rest of content. I’d just like to see it preserved (of lag, crash, cheat, etc).

yeah, kinda sort of…Also, if anyone can help me track down some old letah-videos I’d apreciate it a lot :slight_smile: in partiqular the 30minute long ‘enter the leet’ but I’m looking for the others too.

Figured I’d Post in here too, as we all wait patiently for a new MMO like AO or with the community drive that AO has and where we’re all like the small town everyone knows everyone.
