Old TSW player thinking of trying TSWL - combat changes?

I played TSW back in the day. I got one character all the way to Tokyo and then quit - the level of difficulty in Tokyo and the new game mechanics really turned me off.

So - what did they change in combat and powers for TSWL?

Thank you for any advice on the difference between playing Tokyo or something similar in TSW vs TSWL.

It’s quite unfortunate. One of the worst changes. Probably right behind the dumb forced reticle.

Despite 1 year playing SWL, I still have difficulties with the reticle targeting :expressionless:
