On the next patch of Conan exiles...!

So, it has already become a meme that each time a patch happen in CE, something breaks. And with each new patch it gets more and more severe.
From just minor bugs, lags, rubberbanding, a few building pieces losing stability or falling through the floor we are now reaching the point where the game doesn’t start at all. Or if it does you either can’t see any servers or lose your saved characters.

So here is the question - what do you think will happen on the next patch?
Will the game uninstall itself after you get stuck in a mesh and remove your bracer? Will it fry your motherboard when you try to cook too much meat in your campfire? Or will it explode your PC if you let a red imp damage you with its self-destruction?

i don’t think there is anything worse than loosing character and “server” (building) progression on a game based on character and server progression.

Players will surely leave the conan definitely fed up with all the problems developers cause every time they patch. Why don’t they test the patch on some server to see how it reacts and not at all causing errors? Why don’t they learn from their mistakes at once? the same thing is always repeated. Are you so eager to ruin your own game making players already tired of all this?

the motivation, the desire to continue playing, and the love for a game that is leaving him to die. instead of solving problems like the latency of the servers, a too small map, errors and more errors that return with each update. and most importantly the only new content launch through paid dlc

They probably just don’t give a s*** on it.
Bug fixing dioesn’t generate money.
Selling DLC which contain just reskinned structure pieces does.

Even if it hurts, it’s a fact. And yes… truth hurts; unfortunately.
I’ll focus on my ark servers again instead of this crap going on here since the last 3 updates.

Have a good one, patient barbarians.

My prediction is that when avatar’s are re-released you will be able to use them to destroy people’s buildings on servers where building damage is disabled.

But for sure you can kill players inside buildings in pve-c.Even not destroying buildings

Judging from the posts I’ve been reading on the forums, the game soon won’t have a chance to uninstall itself…users will have already done that. I had a game years ago who’s devs updated it into the dirt…seen this before.
I think the next patch will involve a skull pointing at you and laughing with money falling all around it as the game unsuccessfully tries to load.

You return home from a hard days work, you prepare a tray with a good cold beer and some hot food, as you logg into the game you have to wait for a new patch, you eat your food and wait till the patch dowmload is complete. Then as you enter your server inside your recently uplevelled base a noise on the front door calls your attention, as you come closer the noise gets louder, you open the door and suddenly 3 of your buddy thralls come rolling in and take you by force out of the building, theres a post in the middle of the patio, they tie you up and then you see all your thralls starting to hammer down all the walls of your buildings, the pets and the thralls fight eachother till your base is in ruins and only a T4 berserker thrall is left standing up alone, he turns around and looks at you in the eyes, then he smiles, as he comes closer you know whats going to happen next, he lifts his huge dragon bone sword over his head and chops your body in 2.
Then your toon is in the desert startng area, you open the map and theres no bedrole or bed to fly to, all you have created in so many hours has vanished in the air.
Theres a post sign in the desert and as you come closer you can read: welcome to Conan exiles dude…

LOL everyone dies upon login

My guess is that they will just leave the game as broken as it is (even for funcom it will be hard to make it worse) and move over to the Epic Game Store (that’s probably why tencent bought them).

How I wish that we could just disable updates… Oh, and offline mode.

This is the part where I decide to play something else, no matter which game got an update. Funcom may have a worse average record for successful patches than most other companies, but by now I’m so used to every game that gets updates to need a patch to patch the patch. So I do something else for the next few days, then come back after the smoke has cleared.
