Opinions on punching daggers vs normal daggers

Hi All,

I would be interested in hearing opinions on the use of punching daggers vs normal daggers. Are there any advantage or disadvantages to using one or the other?

Daggers are and have a different move set. The flip back and the bleeds create good mobility.

Claws have a wider AOE from my experience and larger sweeping attacks

Punch daggers are similar to the regular daggers but for the life of me there are no star metal variants or epic versions in “Specialty Weapons”.

Punch daggers are useful if you hate the handspring backwords. This is handy for thralls if you want one to have a bleed weapon because they will not flip backwords. Punch daggers have their own special strike move.
