That could protect the immediate desire aspect of earlier packages, while still letting people spend when (ish) they wish to.

I believe they are wanting items that were exclusive to battlepass that they missed. If so Funcom stated that BP exclusive items wouldn’t only alternate versions.

I’ve very sad I missed the bush labyrinth items that were up recently. I didn’t realize how much I was going to enjoy building in Conan after coming back from a year long break. I’d buy them in a heartbeat today. Lesson learned.
Another thing I learned is that the battle pass is a one time thing. Not only is the wight horse from the 1st pass amazing and I’m so glad I got it, several other items from it are fantastic to have as well. I think I’m going to finish this current pass even though piles of treasure isn’t really my thing right now. They are some nice cosmetic items.

also how about a new religion? I vote for ganesha as the next god, although dagon seems the most likely to be next.
Personally, this one would infinitely prefer if the religions stayed out of the monetization.
New gods should be base game additions.

I’m a Single-Player on PC, but I still buy emotes that can be used by thralls. The less I rely on mods, the less disappointment if the modder stops supporting it.

maybe pay the modder 5 bux a month so that he keeps the great work and also save yourself some money on the way since you dont spend it on overpriced junk

Maybe Funcom will think about selling items from past battle pass seasons?
I know exactly one game that met such wishes of the players and did not fail! This increased the loyalty of new players, and the company made a profit!

I agree with this. It’s basically free profit for them. They could also increase the number of items sold at any one time, with tabs for different types of items perhaps, or a separate tab of just old items from the battle passes.
The battle pass is partly premised on FOMO - this is your only chance to get the stuff - but it is not expensive either. Selling the stuff individually could still involve a bit of FOMO and I don’t think would necessarily cut into BP sales.

It would allow cherry-picking stuff, because so far, Battle Passes have included only a handful of really cool stuff and lots of filler, and that filler would probably not sell well in the Bazaar. So the cool stuff would need to be priced in a way that would still encourage getting and playing through a Battle Pass, but still not so high that people wouldn’t buy them at all.
Looking at this BP, I think the treasure items could sell as a set for 1900-2400 CC or something after the event ends and a player wants to catch up, and the individual armor sets for 900-1200 a piece after? A player who wants to hold out won’t know when the items will come back, and any of the desirable ones are assured to cost more than the cost of the BP.
