The change to the menu UI/functions has only effected my game play in that I can’t right click to use. But were getting that back. So even though I want all the menu functions back, I don’t miss them, so I don’t want them back for me.
Would not know if it’s any good or not as I haven’t been able to get on the server I play on. I attempt to log in and immediately disconnected due to it crashing the entire server. Official #6108 Siptah.
Admin spawned monsters is not even top 5 methods to quick farm bp.
You can set up several benches and just q craft feasts to afk level BP.
I don’t like daily limit, but it’s the for a reason.
Remove limit and ppl will be able to max BP in less than a hour.
AndyB This change is temporary, as we feel the current HP values of Bearer Thralls is too high. This will be revisited after a new feature in a future update
Do tell?
I’ve worked on logging out on various building pieces 6/6 no issue.
It seems there is no mention of major UI issues -
No mention of ‘Custom Sorting’ being restored as an option.
No mention of giving us back access to our mouse pointer in radial menus (without which the game is at the level of a bad early 2000s console to pc port).
Also no mention of major bug issues -
No mention of stopping players and thralls falling through foundations. (Though Deacon at least has tested this one for you).
No mention of ‘death zones’ appearing around the map.
But hey, at least the werehyenas will no longer have an unnecessary ‘talk’ button that does nothing - clearly a far more important fix…
Wouldn’t want to risk actually fixing things that have people ready to leave the game - focus on minor graphic glitches instead, that’s bound to reduce the complaints…
Radial dials now have a ‘rotational’ pointer controlled by rotating the mouse, instead of simply pointing and clicking (like a mouse is designed to do…)
Fair
Yeah - I was kinda deliberately picking the least relevant highlights to make a point
As much as this sounds good for me on console, this does sound like a merging of design towards controller UI improvement at the cost of the KB/M functionality.
Exactly - it is the very same style of radial menu that you are familiar with on console and works great with a controller (I’d be hard pushed to come up with a better way to do it). But with KB/M it is sadly lacking, because a mouse does not neatly turn round the circle, unless the user moves it in a perfect circle (and the ability to draw a perfect circle freehand is often listed as one of the things that showed how great DaVinci was…)
