Vast majority of active mods have long ago been updated.
Dudes Delightful Decorations? They’re fine.
Also fine.
Based on what I know caused mods to break with 2.7, I don’t see why Exile Architect would have been broken with 2.7. There are usually a lot of comments in the comment section when a mod breaks too, and their workshop page is mostly silent.
My advice? Be less eager to jump on the “mod is broken” assumptions, especially when you are just starting out.

Don’t use Nexus Mods for Conan.
Use one of several mods for body editing that isn’t overhauling the actual mesh? Fashionist has a character editor, Pippi has a character editor, Improved Quality of Life has a character editor.
The downside to downloading body morph mods is that 90% of armors won’t work with them, so I see no reason to do so. Just use the mods with extensive character edits.
Narelle gave you advice on that.
Don’t see any mod called “Dark Forest” but if you mean the total conversion mods, those are hardly “simple.” Not in terms of their back end work and maintenance. My advice if you are trying to turn the Exile Lands into a forest, use mods by Kyeri as Kyeri is a reliable mod creator.
Define “light source mods.”
The few that do don’t update their mods anymore. Pythagoras Support Beams that Dan talks about doesn’t “alter stability.” They are literally a pillar, except horizontal. There’s a reason why I haven’t needed to update PSB for a long while now.
I’m not sure what to make of your post here, but there’s a lot of false assumptions and clear indications of your lack of understanding of how mods work. Which is fine, you’re new to modding. Lesson #1 is, don’t be so quick to jump on “mod is broken,” we mod creators get that often enough from people who didn’t properly test our stuff. Lesson #2, ask questions, the more specific the better, if you are looking for something in particular. More then likely there is a mod for what you are looking for, so don’t be so quick to give up.
