(PC) No XP from crafting recipy in hotbar

Crash dump link: Not a crash, therefore no dump.

There is no XP given when crafting from the hotbar.
I found an old post on reddit that seemingly experienced the same thing in September 2017, so the problem might have been around for a while.

Repro steps:

  1. Drag Sandstone Foundation Recipy into hotbar
  2. Press hotkey for hotbar with Sandstone Foundation Recipy
  3. press G and monitor XP when the recipy completes

It works (gives XP) when you craft directly from the “Crafting” menu.

I’ve noticed this too.

If you place structures on your bar and run out, press the button again to craft another one. We get no exp for this either.

Furthermore, I wasn’t receiving the passive 10 exp ticks while I was crafting from the hotbar.
