Is it already available? My steam didn’t recognize it yet.
Should we already run the steam update for the server and it will be fixed?
This is exactly the sort of thing that should have been be tweaked before a 1.0 release, planning ahead for the DLC.
I really hope this is only when facing the player and don’t affect nearby surroundings i.e (hiding in bushes)
That doesn’t explain why I lose 5-10 points of health now, when I eat food.
New bugs introduced with this update. The ability to loot all or loot while looking at a corpse is no longer working. You are able to interact with the body and loot that way but the quick loot system is not allowing you to loot from the quick loot system.
Ongoing bugs:
Weather issues:
When it rains the interior of your buildings is still wet. Please resolve this atrocious bug. The weather does not occur in terms of seeing the rain falling or snow falling but the “wet” look to every thing breaks the immersion factor by an eleven and should have been resolved, in my opinion, prior to full release since it was discussed in length prior to the release of the jungle area or the full games launch.
Resource gathering:
In 3rd-person view you cannot mine a resource even though you are standing on top of it. Switching to 1st-person view resolves this but this should not be the workaround and should be resolved since this “collision detection” could spill over into PvP combat or PvE combat.
Shelter rating:
There should be a better explanation on how the shelter rating system works, etc. Standing in a structure that has a ceiling with the walls two(2) high and with either a flat or sloped roof should provide a “full” shelter rating and not change that rating depending on where you are standing within the structure. Dying from a sandstorm or from the outside temperatures in your on home is not acceptable.
I will add more bugs that I find since this patch has been released. As always, keep up the good work Funcom. Just please do not allow ongoing bugs to remain and squash them faster than releasing new content or features.
You lose no points!
- Open your inventory (so you see the numbers of your health)
- Check your numbers
- Eat something
You see that you do not lose any points.

You got it a bit wrong. People who were duplicating them probably did not had orbs stash at all, so funcom screwed only people who actually made them.
Yes, I did that, and yes, it doesn’t show any number drop.
Weird though, that the bar graphics, do show a slight drop. Wasn’t like that before.
I do believe the dancers are pretty much useless now, except for removing corruption.
Okay, sorry about that then. It just sounded fishy to me
Funcom can’t distinguish between duplicated and original items. If some mofos decide to use an exploit to that extent, that funcom consider it ciritical, they only can wipe all items on all server (after fix). Maybe the fix itself needed the orbs to be removed!? That would explain why even private servers are effected.
Regarding star metal, i totaly agree that flawless version should be much closer to dragonbone and legendary weapons. They shoud be pretty much same as obsidian of the same quality. I’m almost certain, funcom will do something in that direction.
Anyway, much appreciated that patch!
Looking at the patch notes, there should be some added stuff too, even though I feel this was a mostly “subtracting” patch…
- Equip button for thralls… anyone seen that?
- Buy to next perk-button… can’t find that …
What I really miss, is anything new… anything really… like ADDING the possibility to get through Razmas door… THAT can’t be that hard to do… or grinding red lotus… a pretty simple thing, one should think…
But instead I feel there is a policing attitude, where focus lay in knocking down any and all unwanted activity… even if the vast majority play fair, they get policed, and punished… even on PRIVATE servers… EVEN on soloplay localy on their own computer…
That is not what you do post-launch… no no no, that is overstepping.
I believe FunCom have a job to do to get people playing now, as many see hours and weeks of grinding lost, and not really anythin to keep things fresh… very bad combo indeed.
On the bright side: altar on chaosmouth is back, and I have tested it, so now people get to watch the endgame snippet when they quit…
Well, I will hang in here, buy the DLC, and probably the next and the one after that and so on… but I like to see a change in attitude from the devs… this was not their finest hour…
The Patch turned my Iron Pick into an Iron Broadsword.
Just a quick note but I’ve been seeing that behavior for a few days before the patch. I’ve been playing on a laggy satellite connection though so I get some odd effects.
Bug is still there. (Official PC server 1522, location -145k -74k.) My character was fully rendered and able to move before the door rendered.
Game is a joke. Funcom already duped us out of money for Conan online then again with this release. They aren’t getting another cent of mine until they fix a lot more and actually add real content.
When your hunger and thirst bars are full you gain a bonus to health and stamina. This is why you see your health bar ‘drop’.
For example, I normally have 348HP, when I eat my max HP rises to 360 but I am 348/360 when that happens. Or at 96% HP when that happens. So it ‘looks’ like I lost 1/25th (4%) of my health.
You don’t notice when this drops since if you’re at full health 360/360 (in my case) and hunger and thirst drop, it goes to 348/348. 100% to 100%. You MIGHT notice it if you were at like 355/360 and dropped to 348/348. Which I have in the past and why I noticed that full hunger and thirst do provide a bonus.
Not true, I didn’t craft 1 orb, and still all my looted gas and tar orbs from npcs are gone.
Yes, same here. Health points shouldn’t drop, just because the pool got bigger. You should still have the same amount of points.
I didn’t see this at all, before patch.
The players still get kicked off the server (private, no mods) frequently. After the hotfix it wasn’t that often - after our next restart at 10:30 pm it happens partly within minutes. Any ideas?
Haven’t seen that on the server I play on. Have you tried a test wipe? How you do this is by backing up your game.db file, and then start over to see if it persists. If it doesn’t, then you know there’s an issue with the save file. If not, then more thorough testing will be needed.
