Shamless plug for my inquiry about decayoverride not being in my settings.ini file…anyone able to read and comment suggestions? Please read up from 6-16 thanks

You can’t skip intro movies because game is not responding for some 10 seconds after startup, quick loot indeed does not work (it does not work on corpses at all, it works partially on placeables), closing doors is causing stutters, dying makes 8-10s freeze making it impossible to choose spawn point, for corpses they said “it is fixed sometimes”, I still did not encountered invisible torches…

Things which are not fixed from patch notes:

They do not use shields at all now

Is this what is causing “closing doors” to make stutters now? And thralls are still falling thru foundations, so I do not see point of this being here

If Sometimes is 0%, then I guess that fix is working

HP regen is fixed at least, but something tells me it will be back with next patch. Now I need to log in twice, because first time I can’t remove blood screen (low hp indicator) and second time I usually need to take some damage before my client gets proper update.

in terme of performance, my private server seam to run better since last patch.

I have same problem.

This bug is being fixed with the small PC Live Hotfix that we patch in about 1.5 hours.

they’re higher than the starmetal weapons which is everything i need to know, since these new recipes are supposed to be pickable once the dlc is bought, right?
Starmetal is the top tier recipe you’re supposed to get without having to explore dungeons, same as these ones, so if it’s associated to money, well i see sthing wrong there consideing the fact devs said clearly this dlc should not give any advantage to the vanilla game but should only serve an esthetic purpose…

I still don’t see a problem here. They’re not the best items in the game, and they still have to be crafted. It’s not like you can roll a fresh Lv1 char and then just equip the best items.

When I buy the DLC and equip the armor and weapons, I will NOT be the most tweaked character on the server. There will be other level 60’s that can beat me with items found in game.

The dude earlier in the thread said this was p2w DLC, which it clearly is not. You can start this game brand new with the DLC and have NO advantage over someone else starting at Lv1 without the DLC. That’s all :slight_smile:

True that a guy who would go around and explore what is beneficial like the undead dragon arena would no be in disadvantage in regards to that dlc.
On the other hand, a guy who likes staying around his base and not exploring much would have the possibility to get better gear than the same other guy without the dlc. That’s the point.
Finally it seems clear to me that these features/recipes will be only available through the paid dlc which the notes from today are stating, right?
personnally i just wait to see the official release of this dlc to see if all of these recipes will indeed have to be purchased to become available in the game and what the definitive stats of these recipes will be.

That’s a player made decision to not explore and to not acquire better weapons. Better than DLC weapons are available in game with little effort.

At no point does the DLC give a player an advantage that another player cannot surmount with a little effort. Most people at 60 by this point will not be affected by this DLC’s stats. And again, no one on a fresh character / server wipe / new server / whatever will have an advantage over equal level characters without the DLC.

On the case you mentioned, we’re also talking about flawless versions of these recipes, which MIGHT not even exist in game. And if they do, requires getting the T4 thrall for it. So in the case of the sword, 45 base damage +6 for flawless gives you 51 damage. +1 damage over the Lusttaker you can craft at the Derketo shrine.

So a base bound player without DLC can get a 50 damage sword, where as a DLC player would have to farm for a T4 thrall to get +1 damage. Again, this is not p2w in any way, shape, or form.

Damage is not the only factor. The fact that you have second best weapons in the game which requires almost no time/grind to be crafted, you can replace them without any issues in your own base is what makes them p2w. With guaranteed T4 smith spawn, you will have T4 smith long before you hit 60 if you know what are you doing.

They will use useless metal for crafting and with 2 fire orbs needed to crack them, you can clearly craft them much faster then dragonbone weapons. Obsidian weapons requires you to get into the dungeon and guard smithy until they are all made, which makes them harder to replace.

And to get the best legendary weapons in the game will be harder as the number of useless legendaries gets increased, even if old ones are not fixed. And they are useless without legendary repair kits.

There is much more into consideration then just pure damage number.

No. You are able to get the stuff back.
