[PC] Patch Notes for Live (15.05.2018)

Just got one question:
Why launch the game when the game is not rdy?
We expect something different between EA and launched, things like less BUGS and better server performance?

Because it is probably a Marketing decision because ppl work on this game and ofcourse they Need to get paid! Other than that, the game is definatly ready to be launched. Bug fixes and future Contents are an ongoing process. Just because it launched now, doesn’t mean they will not work on it anymore.

Yes I’m sure they expect something different aswell but i personally have not seen a game release with no bugs at all or no Performance issues.

Single player.
Not a very terrible bug but… Periodically, the physics of clothing for thralls ceases to function. The physics of the character’s clothing works fine, but with thralls, it’s just a misfortune. At the entrance to the game everything is OK, but it’s worth moving away from the base and then returning to it, the dancers’ clothing turns into plywood.(google translate)

Same problem for me. Also private server.

I lost great part of my treehouse on the swamp.

In my case it doesn’t work at all. I think it must be a bug rather than a nerf.

Thank you for putting this here, I’ve been dealing with this bug since the combat update.

NĆ£o resolveu nada do loading infinito e do retorno a cama quando morrer. O servidor 1999 ainda continua impossĆ­vel de se logar.

Has this been hotfixed yet? Would seem like a very serious issue, when you are even enabling body vault exploit because of this.

The physics for anyone, whether it’s an NPC or a player, can break if their height is changed from the default value you see in character creation.

Do thralls regenerate health now on PS4? Thralls are a very important aspect of the game, without regeneration or ANY sort of healing mechanism they are USELESS and incredibly weak. (Thralls start and stay with ~100 health. -_- )

Some spawning issues may still be lurking around, not sure if it’s just my game or not though -

Problem: Creature Spawn problems in The Dregs

I’ve gone through the dungeon a few times since the week right before full release up until last night; only creatures to spawn were the skeletons and the Abyssal Remnant. No komodo dragons have been spawning. I’m more inclined to think it’s something with my game, though the people I asked if they were still getting the spawns were all playing on a privately hosted server and mine is local.

Reproduction steps:

  1. Enter The Dregs in a singleplayer game
  2. Check and see if komodos spawn

They spawned in my run through The Dregs last night.

The first time I ever did The Dregs was a few weeks ago, the did not spawn then, but now they do. This is a new game I created after launch. Single player.

Huh. I did wipe my local game between the first time they didn’t spawn and the last time I ran it last night. I’ll go back in and see if they then spawn. It’d be odd for them to just not spawn on the first time the dungeon gets run but stranger things have happened.

I’ll edit this post with results when I have them.

EDIT: Still no komodo dragons, but it’s not like there aren’t plenty of crocs and komodos out in the overworld. An odd thing but nothing crucial, especially if it’s a very localized problem.

It’s probably just a weird intermittent issue.

Problem: Disappearing Items

Periodically things will vanish after a server restart. I believe it is related to upgrading sandstone to a higher tier, as it didn’t happen till I did so today. I upgraded my Colosseum from the sandstone i designed it with, into black ice and insulated wood and lost an artisan bench and armorer bench with two named thralls and a couple outfits in them after the server restarted. I’m worried my chests packed with materials and legendary weapons will be next…

Reproduction steps:

  1. Build a sandstone structure and place benches and boxes on it.
  2. Restart server with basic materials
  3. Upgrade to a higher tier (mine went to black ice)
  4. Restart server again and check for random missing items

Offline Players Remain In The World = False

Hi! I deactivated the decay system before the release, I wiped the server for the day and forgot to turn on the decay. The problem now is that when I try to reactivate it, a lot of active players will get their bases or placeables removed.

Any solution? or without a wipe will never works?

You probably have TONS of emails but just shooting you a question, do the DEVS consider the weather broken a problem on single player PC? Be sides that, heck of a game still, just miss the weather. Your rabbits are GREAT! I could watch them for hours, they are very realistic in their movement and ect.

Oh well weather, I want rain and snow on SP pc

This game is and was NO WHERE near ready. Their updates (#33) broke things that actually worked in EA (days prior to update) and things seem to only get worse.

Marketing, yes. And don’t even think they didn’t have an income stream to pay their Employees.

Bug fixes, should not be that huge an issue.

Witcher 3 had one or two patches at most (maybe zero, been a while) and the game works wonderfully.
Stardew Valley (one patch I think)

So if you’re paying $30, $40, $50 etc for a game, it better work out the gate. $19. for an EA game would be acceptable.

Yeah, I’m pretty upset over this whole dialogue. Sorry.
