We’re releasing a small patch today, containing the critical fixes released a couple of weeks ago.
This PC patch has been released for both the Steam and Microsoft Store builds to ensure parity between these versions.

Fixed a client crash that would occur when loading large mod lists.
Fixed an issue where mods with custom maps were not working as expected.
Microsoft Store-specific:
Fixed a connection issue with the Funcom Live Services that occurred while having the setting “You can share outside of XBOX” set to “Block”.
Fixed a number of issues that would cause text and voice chat features to not respect voice communication settings.

Fixed an issue with player teleports (Death, Character Creation, Admin Teleport, Map Rooms, etc) hanging due to a corrupted environment .pak file.
Fixed the ability to load mod map files while making a custom single player game.
Fixed a crash related to loading into a map with a huge modlist.

This means…cross-play between Microsoft Store (PC) and Steam will be possible! Praise Crom and please prepare to welcome the new players to our community!

Today we bring to you patch 2.4.4, which will lead to the full launch of Isle of Siptah tomorrow, on the 27th! In it, we’re including a thorough beauty pass for the Isle, in particular for the new areas introduced in 2.4 to have them all shiny and ready, along with performance and thrall fixes.

Adjusted existing and new systems to ensure compatibility with the Windows Store, including mod support and cross-play between Windows PC Gamepass and Steam versions of the game.
Fixed a number of PC-specific crashes.
Fixed a number of crashes across all platforms.
Added a significant number of optimizations mainly geared towards consoles but all platforms will benefit from these changes.
Fixed a number of issues in regards to co-op (listen server) gameplay.
Fixed an issue that would cause performance to drop when activating one of the three Grey ones pools. Well well well.
Reduced number of spam entries in the log in regards to the building system.
Being teleported out of a vault should no longer result in a crash or falling through the mesh.
Fixed an issue that would cause the anti-undermesh system to trigger false positives at Scuttler’s Shortcut.
Further refined the anti-undermesh detection on Siptah. This setting is still not enabled for Siptah Official servers.
You can now block clan invites by checking the box found on the Clan tab.
Fixed an issue where Paved Stone Walkways could not be placed.
It is no longer possible to place multiple doors into the same door frame.
The Parchments feat learned from the Voidforge should now appear under the Library of Esoteric Knowledge as intended.
Arrows should no longer pass through a knocked-down enemy.
Spiders spawned from the Globe of Yezud should no longer attack their owners. They’re nasty enough as they are.
Children of Gullah should not drop skeleton keys, making some videos instantly obsolete. Sorry!
Fixed Invader carpenter specializations so they are consistent with the other profession thralls.
Followers should no longer fall through the terrain and die a mysterious death.
Followers should no longer fall through the terrain after teleporting.
Fixed an issue that would cause follower distance settings to reset on server restart.
The bearer NPC in Sepermeru should no longer attack players on sight.
Fixed an issue where difficulty settings were not applied correctly in Single-Player/Co-Op modes.
Grey One Bow and Grey One 2h Axe feat teachers are back from their vacations and are now where they should be.
Silent Legion heavy boots should now tint correctly.
Fixed visual imperfection with many legwear pieces poking through footwear. They should now tuck correctly, in time for the summer.
Fixed an issue where loot would not be visible upon first opening a chest or container.
Rescued thralls should now respect the thrall cap limit if enabled.
Male Character equipped with any variation of Slaveforged Ceremonial Bracers had texture gaps on the elbows area. This has now been fixed.
Primitive Skirt now behaves naturally when equipped on a female character in combat stance.
Fixed a number of other minor cosmetic issues with other sets and equipment.
Fixed an issue where a certain hairstyle would stretch out while using a Healing Wrap.
Fixed an issue where a banner was not visible for the player.
Under the hood fixes and improvements for the server transfer feature. We are still working on this feature and will announce its launch once it is ready for prime time.
Final touches and improvements for the Twitch Drops feature.
New lands in Siptah have received a new polishing pass, addressing withstanding cosmetic defects, missing collisions and bodies of water, and other similar issues. Time to explore, Exiles!
Similar to above, tweaked a number of LOD issues with Siptah’s environment and terrain.
The grass from the Isle of Dawn should now render a bit further away from the player.
It is no longer possible to climb onto the braziers in the Fractured Citadel.
Branches, Wood, and Stone should now be able to be picked up at the Northeastern beach in Siptah’s new lands.
Fixed a mysterious interactable spot in Mounds of the Dead that provided nothing but false expectations. Until now.
Fixed an issue that would cause certain settings to not respect “Restore Defaults”.
Setting the volume slider to 0 should now completely mute the sounds.
Fixed a number of missing localization for certain prompts.

Added Twitch integration to the main menu UI.
Feats of the Harpy Armory and Iron Short Sword should no longer have the same icon.
Fixed an issue where the game would present players with a warning about their thralls being deleted once they reached the soft cap on thralls. Thralls are not deleted until the hard cap is reached. The feedback should now properly be displayed when the hard cap is exceeded instead.
Fixed a number of UI issues when playing with a controller.

Today we’re bringing you the second patch for update 2.4, which contains some critical fixes, addressing several crashes and the Zath’s spiders behavior on PvE rulesets, but also a fix for the elusive issue that teleported NPCs to coordinates “0, 0, 0” in the world!

Fixed a number of crashes.
Fixed the false-positive kills by the anti-undermesh mechanic that occurred within the Scuttler’s Shortcut.
Fixed an exploit that allowed walking underwater.
The model for the Heir of the North Banner should no longer be invisible.
Added missing texture to the Bow of the Grey Ones.
Added Tier 1 to 4 Zath Priests to Exiles, Black Corsairs, and Stygian Invader priest spawn tables, so that they can be spawned as intended.
Fixed Zath related logic that was dealing damage to players and thralls in the PvE ruleset.
Prevented player-spawned spiders from being able to target players and thralls in the PvE ruleset.
Players should no longer be allowed to loot player and follower corpses from other clans in the PvE ruleset through the radial loot all option while the “Everybody can loot corpse” setting is disabled.
Note: This setting is now disabled by default.
Fixed an issue that would cause bindings to break when mounting or dismounting while dragging a thrall.
Fixed a few issues with the Auto-equip mechanic:
It should now work when pressing the “Loot all” button.
Players in clans should be able to benefit from this mechanic.
Fixed a few issues with potions:
Prevented consumption of more than one potion on certain occasions.
Addressed an issue where potion effects wouldn’t always go through.
Harpagus, the Zath religion teacher, has been relocated on the Exiled Lands:
He can currently be found inside Scuttler’s Shortcut.
Fixed an issue where taking damage while being underwater would prevent Players from swimming to the surface.
Fixed an issue that caused NPCs to teleport to coordinates “0, 0, 0” on crowded servers - Praise Crom!
Fixed one of the Siptah camps chests that could get stuck in an inaccessible state.
Lowered the range of the screen shake effect triggered by the Black Pool summons from 1.5 to 0.5 kilometers.
Updated water material to provide a consistent look in all graphical settings and reintroduce teal depth-fog color.

Added clarification under Balance updates line:
We’ve set the Thrall damage to players multiplier to 0.5 on all Official servers, which was previously set to the default value of 1. This will reduce Thrall’s PvP damage by 50%, and we’ll be continuously be monitoring your feedback. Thrall PvE damage is unchanged.

Currently Known Issues
Avatars were temporarily disabled for PvE and PvE-C servers due to an exploitable issue, we’ll revert this change as soon as we release a fix for it.
Fixed a number of crashes that caused stability issues on the servers.
Modding: Fixed a crash related to the blueprint precompile that was crashing the cooking process.
Fixed issue that caused players to be unable to place elevators.
Fixed a few issues where followers and mounts were unable to eat food. They are now able to eat any food on their diet table for the purpose of healing, just not for pineapple pizza.
Fixed customization issue with thrall bodies, all body parts should now appear at the correct scale on characters.
The Relic Hunter Treasure Seekers have been reminded of how to execute full combo chains.
Healing Waterskins, Herbal Tea, and Honeyed Wine will no longer cleanse bleed effects.
Rebalanced Healing Portions:
Increased the healing rate, the total amount of health restored remains the same but they now heal over a shorter period.
Sped up potion drinking use time, 2.4 and 2.4.1 timers provided below:
Total duration: From 3.0 sec to 2.7 sec
Buff applied: From 1.5 sec to 0.80 sec
Can dodge point: From 1.93 sec to 1.76 sec
Can act point: From 2.9 sec to 2.06 sec

Fixed an issue where players couldn’t interact with many different placeables when they belong to another clan.
Fixed issue with players getting stuck trying to get out of water when on horseback.
Increased no-building zone in one of the New Lands camps to prevent a possible overlapping player claim from blocking NPC spawners.
Fixed the scale values on a number of assets at the Wreck of the Seadog.
Fixed the bushes that couldn’t be harvested near The Fractured Citadel.
Fixed a few gravity-defying jars in the Accursed faction camp.
Fixed the color of the water in Exiled Lands, it will now be clearer and have a blue tone to it.
To avoid confusion, the Character Transfer button has been removed until the feature is ready for release.

Added clarification under the following QoL line. “when quick-looting”.
Choosing “Loot All” when quick-looting your corpse will now send and/or automatically equip all your belongings back where they were right before your quite possibly embarrassing death.

Bows: (2021/04/22 16:55 CET: Removed multiple lines. Reason: changes were reverted)
Removed base armor penetration values.
Increased base damage of bows. This change varies depending on the type of bow, with the Reach of the Red Mother having received the most significant increase.
Reduced armor penetration values on arrows, this change being more extreme on arrows such as Hollowbone Arrows and Mandibles of Atlach-Nacha.
Increased base damage of arrows.
