About 4 years yes :grin:. Back then to go north and farm black ice and star metal was GREAT. The stacks on most materials was 100. People had 3 chests full of stones and they had less than 14k :rofl::rofl::rofl:. I remember “camping” at nights, waiting for the morning to come, you just can’t imagine how many nights (game nights) I have spend with my followers, I wish back then they could dance or do e motes, I was doing silly e motes or dancing and they were standing like statues, not even these simple moves we got after the follower great update. Our walks away from base had no certainty at all, it was a risk. Back then it was survival, I don’t say that now it’s worst, not at all, just don’t feel so survival anymore :man_shrugging:. Not for me, even for the new ones too, they don’t struggle to survive and grow anymore… legendary chests from lvl 0 pfff

Actually I think you have to be level 20 before you can even make a “Large Chest”. Wooden boxes are like level 2 or something though.

You’re doing 1,000pts of damage a hit? That guy has 5,000hp. The only time I’ve seen that amount of player damage was on a server running Age of Calamitous.

Yeah, I guess something close to that. It’s not “per hit” though maybe - I guess I should have been more specific. The attack animations deliver multiple hits. So yeah, I guess I should have said “about 5 attacks”. Two to five hits per attack, 150 to 250 (?) dmg per hit - depending on the critter (and I pretty much one-hit all human NPCs). But I got about the right ratio anyway. The White Tiger is 20,800 HP or something close to that. So if the wolf is about 5 hits (err… attacks…) at 5K HP (and actually I think that wolf is 4.7 or 4.6k and not 5k…) then the White Tiger would be about 21 hits (attacks) and yeah, it’s something like that. Oh, and yes, that’s on official servers.

There are a lot of people that live their lives on video games. That type of game is great for them - because they are literally on the game most of the day except when they are sleeping.

For the rest of us - I’ll pass.

Now give the option … a server type or toggle… that I can turn that off because I don’t have the desire to nor have the ability to live on a video game and I’d be fine because I’d just turn that off on my server.

Now as to making this game more difficult - yes I’m 1000x all for that. I’ve been on the game since early access first release beta and things were in fact a ton harder. There were temperature zones that would flat out kill you, and some enemies were just very brutal.

They scaled all that back to make it easier and more accommodating to the more casual player base. I’m also fine with that but I love difficult games and am a Souls player.

Only if there was graphics, but moo-rpg was it. You can still try out moo today. I know, it’s not the direction you’re looking.

Each new generation seems to remake oldies. Maybe someday…
