Pet mysteriously disappearing from the server, permanently

A max leveled beloved pet of mine is/was no longer where he was supposed to be when I started my own private server today with Dedicated Server Launcher v1.0.45. It simply ceased to exist in the server, it is no longer in Followers menu nor there is any Event Log info about its demise.

All I found, when starting the server, was many, MANY error lines like these:

[2020.06.02-20.04.08:300][ 0]LogClass:Warning: Skipping saved property ThrallName of ThrallInfo since it is no longer serializable for asset: FMemoryReader. (Maybe resave asset?)

There are far too many lines similar to that to copypaste them all, but that seems like my pet got forgotten by the server. In Event Log files, as I said, no info about the pet dying etc, but its earlier lines from days ago list it as “Greater Bear” instead of its given name, so I assume it should be the pet I talk about as I have not used any other pet of his kind but him.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  3. Prof…Loss
  4. Be extremely annoyed by the loss of my sentimental buddy!

No mods. Not sure how to roll a backup…But let’s say I’ve done a LOT without noticing the missing pet, that rollback will destroy my soul :frowning:

Welcome to our community and apologies for the frustration.
The error you mention is present in other logs where players haven’t encountered this issue and should not be related. Without any other additional info, we at least could suggest a workaround given that you might have admin access to your server. You could spawn from the admin menu a similar follower and level it up via the console command to at least replace the loss. If you come across the same issue, please report it back to us with as much additional information as you might have.
