On single player, newly created thralls and pets are dying within a minute. Even stacking them directly with all the food they can hold only keeps them alive for a few minutes. Watching that gazelle die of hunger was horrible…
It’s rather that hunger setting only having been changed for official servers.
Everyone else has to change those settings. I think it’s hungertime in minutes.
It’s set to 10080 on official.
edit: I just checked singleplayer. There hunger is set to 240 minutes.
This is the time it takes for full hunger to deplete and the thralls starting to starve.
With current default settings it means a loss of 1 hunger per 2,4 minutes = 144 seconds.
However, I think it’s not minutes but seconds because that would actually fit everyones experiences.
Then thralls and pets start to starve after 4 minutes. I think that is true.
All of that wouldnt be such a big problem, if different food would add different amounts to the timer.
Like how roasted haunches (was that their name?) grant 50+ to the hunger meter.
