Pink and Blue Model Meshes Show Very Briefly in the World When Loading in

Basic Info:

Platform: PC
Storefront: Steam
Issue Type: Graphics
Game Mode: Online Private
Server Type: PvE
Mods: None

Bug Description:

Post 3.0 update, pink and blue model meshes show very briefly in the world when loading in, for maybe .5 to 1 second duration. In addition, they also seem to show very briefly when enemy NPCs pull out a shield, or when approaching a camp fire for the first time. I have been attempting to take a screenshot of it happening but have not been successful so far, will update with one if I can.

Bug Reproduction:

So far the best way for me to reproduce it is to just load into my private server, or start a single-player session.

Hi @bignstrauss
I can confirm this happens for a lot of people on our private server.
This has also occurred on 3.0 testlive.

It happens to the people on my server, but they see pink stuff, pink buildings, pink pets, etc for a couple of seconds while walking not only when loading in then dissapear, pretty annoying

This has been present since testlive and was reported at the time.

Bug Description:

Purple / Magenta flash before loading textures

Bug Reproduction:

It used to be that the only structure that always flashed purple as it was rendered was the central tower in Siptah. After 3.x release, nearly all textures have momentarily exhibited this bug. This is most often experienced when turning your character around, opening a door, viewing something that was not already in your field of view. Yes, I’ve seen people report signs of this on TestLive, but I also am accustomed to seeing people dismiss the report and let the topic expire before it was marked as recorded by the QA department.
