So in siptah i always myself unable to tell time unlike i could In exiled lands.
A cool little feature could be a light weight sundial we could carry and also place on the ground, carriable dial would tell time in its info icon during sunlight hours and the placeable you just walk up to and look at it and it display the time over head.l (has to be in sun)
Just a random little feature that could be fun to work with
Portable sundial would work like a real one, true North is where it needs to face and the style aligns with earths axis. But since it’s a video game I’d say just have us make it face north and work, the portable should also be placeable so you can stick in on your roof or base, portable shows you time when you hover over it.
Hopefully that makes sense, I’m dyslexic so my sentences can get a bit jumbled
No compass needed for this, on the map it’s set up as North being up and south being down West left east right, so a compass isn’t really needed for the sundial placement
This would be a cool aesthetic only addition. I say thus because Time doesn’t really effect anything other than field of view distance. If time was actually a mechanic, where certain animals were more aggressive at night, maybe early morning some cities were more “asleep” etc it would be worth the development time.
Pfft. Sundials. No need for fancy futuristic gadgets like that. Just do what everyone else does and use a rock.
If you can see the rock, it’s day. If you can’t see the rock, it’s night. If the rock is wet, it’s raining. That last one makes it far more useful than a silly sundial that can’t even tell you what the weather is like.
Staff of Annoyance +5. (Staff of the Triumvirate). I used to use it as a sundial when I first started playing. Nowadays I park it on the other side of the map as far away from my base as possible.
