Placing objects problems

I honestly do not know whether this subject already exists somewhere, so please excuse me.

Since at least two patches there is the bug that you can’t place objects correctly anymore. Objects snip strangely at each other and since the last patch you get the message “overlay with other object or terrain” again and again. Even if there is nothing nearby at all. You get the feeling that the last patch only made everything worse and slowly it’s no fun anymore. Building and decorating is currently hardly possible.

Is this problem being worked on at all, or is there interest in fixing it?

This is a known issue, they said they are working on a fix for it.
