Sooooooo any word on if CE is going to be part of the 400 games included in the new Playstation Plus Extra tier of games?
Is this the reason the trimming is on hold right now? I mean I could easily see this as the reason if thousands of gamers that subscribe get their hands on CE and the PS server count has been trimmed. That would be horrible timing.
They are trimming the servers that have lower population or practically none. Funcom doesn’t want to pay for servers that only have one or two people on the map.
I’m interested in PS4/PS5 games instead of PS2/PS3 games added to the collection.
Timing is coincidence. What would Funcom earn to push it (again) on PS+? Subscription hikes?
The Xbox GamePass has made Xbox immune to the trimming because it being a gamepass game means more players playing. Funcom gets more players and potential sales of DLC’s if they have more players playing.
I think the somewhat notable prevalence of character transfer issues is impacting the PlayStation server mergers.
it’s a possibility. It could explain why the game and it’s DLCs are all on sale, Funcom might be trying to double dip before PS+ Extra goes live. If I were Playstation I would request a bigger cut from the pie since the game was already a ps+ game of the month. You want in? pay up.
