Wedges allow nice structures.
But they have a heavy downside. The only allow building out very short, where you can cover much larger distances with squares. And it is even worse with roofs. You can build up normal roofs, but for wedge roofs you have to build another structure to set in the inverted wedges, that doesn’t male sense.
