Game mode: Online
Problem: Bug | Performance
Region: North America / US
Post Patch 34 the following issues have been repeatedly had by my players:
VERY bad lag, 2-5 second freezes (ping to Server per Conan Server list - 60 to 80, G-Portal Server stats show 50% memory usage and less than 8% CPU usage).
Exiting and re-entering the game results in about 60% health lost that does not recover unless you eat (even if Vitality 30 pts.)
Thrall level counters all at 0 (zero)
Pets/Animals not progressing in level
Disconnects from server (rare; however has included a single player and all players more than once), server status online and G-Portal server details show no restart/recycle of server
Sound not pairing with actions or activities (blowing horn, drums, falls, hits, etc.) Note: If you stand by a horn and wait a few seconds you can usually blow it and it will respond in sync
Steps on how to reproduce issue:
Play your game online (not sure if Single Player has non-Server related issues or not)
Lag - Interact with an item, run up to a player created/placed item, NPC or structure, fight anything
These issues never had not been reported by my players until after the patch; minus the rare issues with lag, typically caused by to many dynamic objects in an area (Purge, a lot of NPC’s, etc.)
I’ve seen players in pvp pop out of nowhere when they start swinging or jumping. As if they’re invisible until their animation changes. Same as the thralls/NPCs. Very annoying in pvp
The splatter, at least for me, will go away if I get hurt and then heal back up. I’ll usually let myself take a little fall damage to get rid of it. I prefer the fall damage since my base hugs the cliffs and it’s a quick, but dirty fix.
