Yep but then the pushback so the hot fix had to revert it due to pressure about how inventory is ruined and now it is literally broke for us.

Btw, the hot fix still isn’t official according to the patch notes thread so if there is any luck, we may get a reversion… hopefully by EOD @Community …yes? Please? I’m even game for just reverting the console versions so that we can enjoy what we can do and not strain our thumbs and controller (it wasn’t designed for long pressing of the l3 or r3 buttons).

Im curious if they even test these things on console. I cant even get items out of my chests now :sweat:

I thought the issue of delved recipes not teaching the epic versions was supposed to be resolved. I mean how hard can it be to undo whatever change was made that messed up learning epic armor versions 6 months ago? The lack of fixing known issues and simple fixable issues at that is ridiculous. Being unable to craft things other players can is a huge disadvantage in PVP servers, same with stuck journey steps. Still can’t access a stuck master armorsmith journey so no perfected heavy gear, no epic versions of certain armors, I mean come on! Fix the issues that have been around for months already!

The right stick moves between the windows on the inventory screen.

I am curious as to how the vast majority of players who never look at the forum figure this out.

I did fix my sprint by re-mapping the controller.

Another serious issue this update brought is the rounding behavior of npcs and mobs. Not that we didn’t have it before, but now they are so close that you cannot dodge out of it anymore unless you kill someone or unequip your weapon and manage to kick.
I do understand that it’s a new mechanism and demands “skill” to get your self out of this situation. Yet skills demand correct reaction from the game as well that doesn’t exist.
If you are rounded, you have to know when to dodge on each attack to avoid hits, but now mobs and npcs attack in different time frames so you won’t be able to avoid all hits, which is good, i like it, it makes fight less predictable. Yet through all this dodge mess your time to unequip your weapon is limited and if your game doesn’t listen your commands in cases like it then it’s disaster.
So adding difficulty in to the game must walk beside with correct performance. If a player doesn’t have correct performance and respond there’s absolutely no reason to ad difficulties , this will end up with frustration not gaming pleasure.
So please first fix the respond of the controller before adding “devastating” difficulty.
Players must feel rewarded for fighting against many, not fools.

While by no means a solution (that will need Funcom to address the control issues) - one thing that has helped for me is carrying a two-handed hammer (in my case Bec de Corbin, since I’m in an agility build right now, but any should work the same) - when I get pinned by three or four enemies switching to that and just trying to get one light attack between stunlocks can make all the difference (it knocks them all back enough to allow space for roll). Timing can be a pain (so with control difficulties is probably worse right now), but it’s the best option I’ve managed.

Until 3 is manageable, you don’t understand the issue. Other than that the triangle they create is not enough to keep you inside.

I thought the reigning through stormglass roof was fixed? it is still very much raining through my roof.

Thankyou for bringing this to my attention @everybodyvsME. As it would happen I saw images of it on a youtube video. Now dont get me wrong, I love its design and it looks like and beautiful piece. BUT why add a new thrall pot if it is not actually going to work!? :neutral_face: And it is not just me, other members also have been reporting thst it is broken for over 1 year (the Pet Feed Box too); and one need hit interact button on it to see that nothing eats from it.

I am going to draw a very long bow here and speculate (more hope and pray blindly) that the break from the Sacred Hunt Event will be used to implement a fix for them to make the new and existing one functional again.

I am still experiencing falling through structures and getting stuck in foundations. Hotfix did nothing to fix this. @Funcom its been a few weeks already and this is still a bug. Official PVE-C server 3514. Fix Conan. Seeing that you cannot fix bugs fast for your Conan community, I expect Dune Awakening to be treated the same, which will be Dune’s downfall.

Has anyone else noticed the amount of star metal harvested from nodes is now 1/4 of what the harvest amount was before chapter 4?

Enough people not on pvp complained about PvE(C) things, and pvp was changed in due process.

I think the players need to further figure out how to upgrade the pick from star metal to whatever is ideal. Perfected hardened steel is comparable to star metal tools. I heard black blood tools are better. Anyways…

This is one pf the main concerns. It makes the logon process much longer. “We” experience it, too. It all shows before the walls rez in place. If there was no loading screen, you would see it.

Can i please ask directly if the single player crash issue has passed to the dev team?
Again Siptah, even in this chapter, when a player play long hours in a day and has great progression already, when he logs out, never ending loading screen… The player is forcing shut down of the game and he logs in on the starting menu that creates new character…
The whole progression is lost. But before it goes to this point of total character memory wipe, the player endures game breaking loss. For example, 3 hours before this happens to me again yesterday, i couldn’t fix healing items in my menu, they were completely disappear from the crafting menu. So the downside of this issue is visible a little before the total erase will be done, it’s like the game collapse piece by piece until the total extinction.
My guess is that purges somehow affect this new Siptah situation.
If you have any news please let us know.
Edit. I will add some pictures explaining a bit better why i believe that this memory character wipe is related with the new purge system.
I logged in with a random character, a new one, in my single player session.
My house was there exactly as i left it, of course i don’t own anything anymore, but it’s there and i know workarounds how to gain the most back, yet it’s completely unnecessary if the game keep failing to hold character memory. So here’s the house exactly as i left it yesterday night…






Here’smy treasury that had exactly the same fate with my character, a complete wipe of the chest and all the building pieces attached to it…


If you think that any of this will help devs at least a bit, i can make a proper bug report, yet i believe that they already know.

One thing I’ve noticed with today’s new patch (yay sprint is fixed) is that the sacred hunt altar is still there and interactable. But it’s invisible.

Don’t know if it was like this before today’s patch after sacred hunt was removed in mid-April

They probably decided not to delete it, so as not to return it later, in May. This is a temporary solution.
