Does this happen instantaneously or after a certain time?
If it’s the latter, maybe you need to check whether the Abandon mechanic is enabled in your game’s settings.

I logged in one day and some of my stations were labelled " no owner" my settings are not changed from default. I have to admin and make it so i can damage owned building in order to delete it and make another. I just dont want to have to admin. I consider it cheating

This happens all the time, at first I thought it was after a freeze/crash but then today I noticed just after storing loot and returning because I missed one that the chest had no owner yet again! I’m so irritated there’s way to many bugs and today after freeze/crash an restarting there a change made to attributes notice points reset and atlas my level 60 has only one point to spend?? wtf!! Are you kidding me the game is useless now after month of play!!

It got worse after giving up on exiles map, started the island and same thing after hours of game play and fun it turned to crap an frustration. Posted about it so no sense repeating it… game is broken and breaks when you finally level up nuff to be competitive and you loose every thing you built, found and done… I’m done with it til maybe it gets patched an is playable, maybe by then I mite start over for the numerous time… !!
