Crash or Freeze on load of continue game
Bug Reproduction:
Tried to load my saved offline game I played the previous night. Keeps freezing or crashing at load screen for both single player and coop.

Hey, sorry I’m late to the party and while this is kind of new to me (I am troubleshooting a lot of stuff) when it comes to single player/offline, I’ve noticed that reinstalling the game fixes almost all of the problems. It’s a pain for people with slow internet (like myself), but so far that has been the go to. I, too, play on the PS5. I have not checked it with saved games (since I just start over), but I’ll check that, soon.

Try clearing the local save game and letting the cloud resync
Try to do a workaround there my friend. If you don’t have an additional user on your console, create one. Then start the game from the new user and crate a new game on this character. If the game loads correctly, then turn it of and switch account. Your single player session will probably start now. Good luck m8.

Attempted the workaround but still didn’t work. I’m assuming there’s some sort of bug linked to inviting an online player into your offline game; because it was fine playing in solo…but wouldn’t load after playing coop.

Tried but no successful load.
To me on ps5 worked turning off living settlements,then after 2 days i get again the problem and fix it (hope permanently) lowering the weight of my inventory which i boosted with admin panel. Also loggin off away from your main base could help but im not sure on that. Good luck hope it fix for you
Edit: definetely was the inventory weight !!
Today on my day free I stressed the game on all other mechanics (building in creative while flying high speed,teleport to my main base with all npc,stay on for at least 8 hour straight today ( i leaved the game open even at dinner just to see how it handle it and never ever crashed )
