Purge meter trouble

I recently moved my base north and because I have not been ready for purges I’ve been trying to keep the purge meter low. I’ll play a couple of days and then do something else for a couple days to allow the purge meter to lower. This method of managing my purge meter has worked well for a few weeks, however I have not played for the past four days and my purge meter is not lowering. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I’m playing on an official server on pc and in the exiles lands.

Possible that your server has crashed a few times and it didn’t adjust to real time and kept doing a mini rollback.

I’ve seen no one mention any crashes. Usually people complain about that sort of thing especially if they happen more than once. I suppose it’s plausible but I think it unlikely.
