Purge waves spawning inside my buildings and decimating everything

There is a major issue with spawning of creatures that has come up with the new update/expansion. Purge waves are quite literally spawning directly INSIDE my base… like in the buildings, inside the floor, etc. My thralls outside can’t get to them and they are absolutely destroying everything. I’m about done with this game and this company. I’ve lost months of work because of this, and there is pretty much no way to get to the remaining enemies, since they’re chewing up my floor from inside of it.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
