Bug Description:

PvE Official Server Rollback Request - Dec. 24 Server Setting Exploit

Bug Reproduction:

Platform: PlayStation Map: The Exiled Lands Region: NA Server: PvE Official Server #3500 Please rollback the server to an earlier snapshot prior to the Dec. 24 configuration errors. A significantly large amount of our items were looted due to the “Containers Ignore Ownership” server setting exploit as a result of the configuration errors after the Dec. 24 server maintenance. Player(s) looted 3 large crates of brimstone and composite obsidian, 3 large crates of black ice and starmetal, 8 large crates full of legendary armor and weapons, 2 large crates of T4 crafters/fighters, 2 large crates of perfected armor paddings, large crates of hardened steel, tar, alchemical base and many more items that will take days or weeks to replace previous inventory levels. The correct settings have been applied after today’s server maintenance but all of our items are still gone. I know for a fact I am not the only player that has experienced this issue. Please rollback the servers to restore ALL items that were looted as a result of this exploit. Failure to do so does not give me confidence moving forward knowing that I will continually lose items every time there is a server configuration error after maintenance.

They won’t be rolling back the servers. By the time Funcom comes back from Christmas vacation it will have been at least five days. They can’t roll back that far without losing major progress for players who weren’t affected. What’s done is done unfortunately.

The theft and all this chaos began on December 19th, after the servers were rebooted with new decay timers.
