It’d be neat if we could access our radial menu (On console because PC has a hot bar) and lock it if we need to. Like if you’re starting out and you get some insects and you want to eat some of them. But then you’ll have to open it again to do it again, which could be tedious if you have a lot of them.
I know you can return an item to inventory and do it faster there, but I like new ideas.
You can access your radial menu, and whatever one is your food or your drink, you can press A (or the button on PS4. I forgot.) and you have choices of A (again) to consume one of the item. X for ten. Y for all of it.
