Just a quick post today…
We have been witnessing the coming back of old and very old players over this year. Our friends and allies of Atrox Caelestis have witnessed the same phenomenon. (Navian, their president, even posted briefly about it in AC’s thread "Nice to see old players returning to ao, now if only FC would show the game same love ".)
Two days ago, we had an application from a player who hadn’t been in AO for 16 years and his happy to be there again!
And as I mentioned here several times, AP always have old members coming back.
The formidable potential -and commercial potential- of the AO community has always been, at least apparently, somehow underestimated or mismanaged. But as I have been relatively close to some GD or Devs or GMs in the past, I know that many of them totally understood that potential. Why didn’t this translate into the right business policies? I still don’t know and probably never will.
But for a “niche” game (due to its complexity), AO was a potential (niche) gold mine. Most former AO players have a very special place for AO in their hearts. What can be done with the community is considerable. If only…

In addition to these scheduled raids that happen in the evening GMT, we have several raids or activities in AP, to name some dedicated raid leaders who make them happen (most often during GMT night, sometimes GMT afternoon): Falcondoct, Masterengi, Lordkosh, Sirwappy, Bonniedoom and I can’t name them all.
