"Reduce of redundancy"

Is there any comment on how Tencent push for reduction of redundancy is going to affect CE support?

It feels like it already happened to CE.

Yeah…but it would be nice to here it from FC officially

pretty sure they “let go” of the community manager positions who would be the ones to reply here. CE is in maintenance mode at best. atleast modders can keep the game alive.

It is possible that this might be a good thing for Conan. They sniped some (or a lot) of Conan’s veteran devs to work on Dune. If they do not need them on Dune anymore, but don’t want to fire veteran talent, they may shift them back to Conan.

That is, perhaps, the best case scenario. I think reducing redundancy is usually all bad.

this can hurt conan if they takinf money agian frome conan

What support? :winking_face_with_tongue:

The problem is what’s considered “redundancy” from Tencent may still be considered “necessity” from Funcom and that’s the zero point.

I hope Funcom won’t “obey” and find use for the employees through the games they maintain or trying to create in the future.
