Reinforcement kits

Before the giga-patch, reinforcement kits added some bonus durability. Now they still give you the same amount, but instead of keeping the durability on 100%, they just up the max. durability and leave your (in my case) shield’s previous value making it damaged from the very beginning.

(sorry for the quality I still have some shakings because of fever and cold - and no brain to use print screen…)
It is probably the same with other tools/weapons/armor.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Get a shield for example
  2. Craft a reinforcement kit (ideally an advanced one since it gives you the greatest durability bonus)
  3. Apply it to the shield
  4. Shield now is damaged, and if you have a legendary one but no legendary repair kits, making the kit pointless.

I can confirm this report on a private server (no mods). More visible on lower durability items:
