Rhinos fly hundreds of meters through the air when killed

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. attack a Rhino
  2. kill a Rhino
  3. watch it fly through the air a hundred meters
  4. bug is in the game since I started playing AoC over a year ago, no fix yet…

Dev find it funny and so do i and they will not fix fly dumbo fly

You can get a lot better distance with elephants than you can with rhinos. For more info, please see preexisting thread here:

I had the undead dragon in the pit fly so far he left the area. Pretty pissed about that as I didn’t get the items.

Cap your FPS to 60 via the game settings. They are not going to fly anymore or at least not that far away.

I’ve played at 60fps from the start and they still fly. Usually it is fun, just not when they fly “away”

It was fun to see the Rhino land on top of a tree…

They could at least make this into a minigame. Set some markers and we can see how far something will fly.
