Whenever I move my character is now making beast sounds like a rocknose. I have posted a video further down, but will repeat it here as well:
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with, the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
This was reported long time on testlive and they pushed patch anyway to live. They didn’t fixed ANY bug reported on TESTLIVE so what’s point of this? They just delayed patch without any reason.
I’ll update the description, but this sound is just playing all the time whenever I move. It has nothing to do with the horse, as I initially thought.
To be fair, there were a ton of problems with the new shield and stamina systems and those did get fixed on testlive.
What’s a little more troubling is that Funcom did respond to the reports of the rocknose sounds and said it was a testlive only issue that wouldn’t end up in production. So, either that person doesn’t know what they’re talking about (which is concerning because it was a community manager) or someone else really screwed up their deployment process.
As @Caroll mentioned, the team is aware of this issue and currently looking into it further.
In the meantime you can use the Orb of Nergal/vanity table to change your character voice. This should fix the rocknose sounds.

This must be why they weren’t concerned enough to fix the problems with the “baked assets” before deploying the branch to production. They knew there was a work around, although it’s one that’s out of reach for lower level characters.
