Sand reapers, including the queen, always attack forward after they’ve been hit, regardless of where the player is standing. This means if you attack them from behind or the side, they will never even attempt to face and attack the player as long as you hit them at least once every time they swing. This renders the sand reaper queen completely harmless.

Some other creatures behave this way too, such as Kudus.

Repro steps:

  1. Stab sand reaper.
  2. Sand reaper ignores direction of player and attacks forward.
  3. Farm sand reaper queen for easy keys.
