When I start the game, my screen goes completely black. I hear the start-up but it will not proceed to the game, and it will not even allow me to pull up the task manager to end it. I have restarted the PC and this does not seem to help. Is there some kind of bug I should be aware of? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
have you downloaded the latest updates for your graphics card?

Hope this helps. Either the screen goes completely black (though I can hear the start-up speech running) and I have to restart to get back to my normal screen or it says errror: already running even though it is not with Steam stuck on ‘Stopping’
And yes, all of my drivers are updated.

- Open Steam
- In Library, click with the right button on the game and select “Properties”
- Select the Installed files
- Select Verify integrity of game files….

Probably Funcom’s Discord server for their upcoming Dune game, since that’s where the Funcom staff is actually active and engaging with their community these days.
Tried getting on Dune Discord - to join its asking me for a Password that does not exist. Been playing this game for more than a year and it bothers me that no one at the company is willing to help. Filed a bug report as well.

Been playing this game since February of 2017 and the same thing bothers me. The combination of rapidly declining quality and abysmal customer support is maddening.
Maybe you should open a new bug report that says you are unable to purchase Crom Coins, because that’s pretty much the only thing that makes them react quickly.
