Secret World Legends Crashing

To stop the weird crashes in Secret World Legends - directX11:

Right click the game in your Steam Library.
Go to Properties then the Local Files tab.
Click Browse Local Files.
Locate the game executable (*3 listed below).
Right click it and go to Properties.
Click the Compatibility tab.
Check the Run this program as an administrator box.
Click Apply.
*Files to change:
ClientPatcher.exe
SecretWorldLegends.exe
SecretWorldLegendsDX11.exe

AND
Set Options (Client Patcher Window) to:** Windowed Borderless & Tick Full Client
Do a clean install of your lastest graphics drivers (uninstall and install again clean rather than update)
Change AwesomiumProcess.exe in your game files to compatability mode for windows 7
AND IF IT STILL CRASHES
Reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019

Anything else? I’ve done everything and am still crashing every 10 minutes or so.

They only other thing to do then is change over to DirectX9 unfortunately

If you’re using an NVIDIA graphics card, then there are problems with recent drivers and SWL not getting along.

Funcom: please post when you FIX NVIDIA drivers and tell us what to use!

The NVIDIA drivers most widely accepted as stable with Secret World Legends at this time are 436.15 and anything at or below 425.31.

While some people experience instability at 436.15, there are more reports of drivers between 425.31 - 436.15 and after 436.15 leading to SWL crashes.

425.31 and anything below is stable for almost all players. If you want certainty and can afford to roll back that far, that is your best bet.

In my case it’s a notebook and I have tried every single driver available from NVIDIA for it, but none made any difference.
