Krampuskarte Screenshot Contest 
Gruß vom Krampus! The Holiday Devil is no stranger to love and letters on Gaia or the warmth Her children enjoy both in body and spirit. Amidst the packages and parcels aplenty are his very own greeting cards crafted with care and flavoured with a peculiar dark humour and cold whimsy only Krampus can impart. In a twisted love borne from envious cold, the Yuletide Devil sends his cards far and wide. Perhaps you too have seen the Krampuskarten, sweetling?
If you haven’t? Bitter claws and frozen hooves refuse to keep that true. And then when you have? If you have? Bitter hooves and frozen claws will show you what to do. Will you follow the Lord of Misrule and send them through?
Keep in mind the mail crimes you commit. We know we will.
From the moment our preternaturally precise timekeepers strike 19 December 2025 and all the way through 18 January 2026, you can fulfill Krampus’ Yule wish by screenshotting the perfect scene for a Krampuskarte!
Stationary Strength
Take an in-game Secret World Legends screenshot centered around Krampus as if it were on a Krampuskarte - a devilish greeting card or postcard depicting Krampus and his victims in sometimes scary, sometimes silly scenes, all with greetings from Krampus himself! Gruß vom Krampus!
Your screenshots - your Krampuskarten - should contain Krampus as the central focus of the scene. Including your Player Character is recommended, regardless of whether or not you dress as part of Krampus’ kin or as one of his unfortunate victims! Post your screenshot submission unedited and unaltered as a reply in this thread according to all criteria outlined in this contest, so that the Custodial staff so kindly assisting in sorting these out can easily find all qualifying entries!
Whether mirthful and merry or mischievous and malicious, stuff stockings with cards of fun and fright! Krampus has his Gate, and you have the right-of-way to the Tree. Together, your cards can spread far and wide.

Categories of Misrule
Capture Krampus’ mirth or malice for your card scenes. Mischief may reign whether mirthful or malicious. The misrule is for you to decide! Krampus wouldn’t approve if he isn’t included.

Malice - Krampus’ malice towards others is clear in the spooky, scary, or serious scenes presented on these Krampuskarten.

Mirth - Krampus’ humour, even dark and dry as it may often be, is represented with merry joy and lighthearted glee on these Krampuskarten.
Rules and Criteria

Submissions must contain one (1) in-game screenshot taken from within Secret World Legends. This screenshot MUST feature and contain Krampus as seen in Secret World Legends in some way, shape, or form as a central focus in order to qualify.

Submissions must be posted as a reply within this thread. Entrants must explicitly state in their posts their screenshots’ status as contest entries by beginning their post with “Gruß vom Krampus” or “Greetings from Krampus”. Failure to do so may result in your Krampuskarte being missed by the Custodians as they sort out the mess made by Krampus.
- If you are unable to post an image to the thread, be sure that you have browsed the Funcom Forums for a minimum of 10 minutes or otherwise read a minimum of 5 threads to reach the ‘Basic’ Discourse Trust Level. If you are uncertain whether you have this Trust Level, please check for the presence of the ‘Basic’ badge on your Funcom Forums account.

Entries must include the nickname of the character to whom prizes may be distributed as posted by the entrant, as well as the category of misrule (Malice or Mirth) the screenshot is being entered into. It must be in the same post as the Krampuskarte screenshot. It cannot be on the screenshot, as the screenshot cannot be edited in any manner. Collaborative screenshot entries must include the nicknames of all participating player characters

Entries must include names of their card’s sender and recipient as clearly labeled in the text of their submitted post. These names must be included separately from the Krampuskarte screenshot. The sender can be the entrant’s player character or an NPC, while the receiver can only be an NPC. The names of the sender and recipient are a separate requirement from that of the character name required for prize delivery.
- Do NOT include real-life individuals, names, addresses, or otherwise ‘dox’ or reveal personal information of yourself or others. Doing so will immediately disqualify you and result in the removal of your submission entirely.

The screenshot must be your own. By submitting an entry, you agree that it is your own screenshot taken within Secret World Legends and that it is in no way generated, manipulated, photo-edited, modified, or otherwise changed or altered in any way.
- Collaborative screenshot entries are accepted provided they are still wholly the work of those involved; however, they can only be submitted by one person.
- Generative AI is expressly forbidden.

Use of Programs, Addons or Mods that alter Looks, Effects, animations, and/or utilise free-roaming cameras on the Player’s client are expressly forbidden for entries into the Secret World Legends Krampuskarte Contest. Submissions found to have used any of the above will be immediately disqualified. Your screenshots must represent what can actually be achieved in the client natively without third-party assistance!

Please keep entries as Safe-For-Work as Secret World Legends itself. We are well aware of Krampus’ reputation, but try not to exceed even him. We will not be able to judge intensely sexually explicit entries.

[OPTIONAL] For those who are particularly inspired to go farther, you may additionally include in your post the inside of a greeting card Krampuskarte or the address side of a postcard Krampuskarte. Text or image format is acceptable so long as they are distinctly separate from the submitted Krampuskarte screenshot and labelled as either “Inside” or “Address Side”. We request that this include the card’s intended recipient for immersive accuracy! The optional sides of the cards will not be judged but MUST be properly labelled IF included so that we can properly isolate entries. Inclusion or exclusion of the address side will not impact how an entry is judged.
Deadline
Secret World Legends Krampuskarte Screenshot entries will be accepted from 19 December 2025 at 00:00:00 UTC through 18 January 2026 at 23:59:59 UTC. No more Krampus cards will be accepted once the clock strikes midnight in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Our Custodians will not be assisting in sorting any Krampuskarte mail outside of schedule.
Prizes
Participation: All who submit a qualifying screenshot will receive One (1) “Anima Lager t-shirt” clothing award item for your chosen character. “I participated in Krampus’ card contest and all I got was this lousy t-shirt! It’s literally lousy with lice - Krampus stole these shirts from the back of a brewery he raided!”

- Any participant who already owns the “Anima Lager t-shirt” clothing item will instead receive the “Haunted Grin t-shirt, white” clothing award item from the depths of Krampus’ closet.

One singular used and possibly dirty oven mitt directly from Krampus’ kitchen. It bears a striking resemblance to the one worn by Yuichi Nakahara, but Krampus would never gift-and-tell.
A physical replica of the Oven mitt left, brown knitted with care by Mel-Addams will be sent to the Grand-Prize Winner, should they be comfortable receiving this fine piece of craft!
Worry not, it is not nearly as dirty as Krampus would like you to believe - it’s even machine-washable! The body of the mitt is made of 100% cotton and the red piping is a 70/30 cotton/linen mix. Although this mitt is capable of withstanding some warmth, take heed! This mitt is not certified for the extreme degrees of heat found in an oven or otherwise and should not be used to take anything scalding or steaming hot out of an oven or off of a stovetop. It has been tested for minor microwave use, however! This oven mitt is intended as a replica knitted with time and love.
