"Send New Items To Shortcuts Wheel" still sends items to wheel even when disabled. It is not working as intended

Basic Info:

Platform: PlayStation 5 (Digital Edition)
Issue Type: Gameplay
Game Mode: Online Private
Server Type: PvE

Bug Description:

When turning off the setting that prevents new items from going to the radial menu, they still go to radial menu. I have to fill it up with items I use just to make sure I don’t get bugs or berries in empty slots.

Bug Reproduction:

I turn off the setting and nothing changes.

The option worked after some pre-siptah update, no consumables entered the wheel and it was glorious! But now the wheel is again full of insects, raw meat and berries… Frustrating.

Especially the raw meat breaks balls, isn’t it? And you try to remove it from your wheel, you consume it accidentally and you get poisoned :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:.
Harmless ball breaking bugs! The ghost of the campfire is worst for me!
