Game mode: (Online official) Type of issue: Crash | Bug | Performance Server type: PvP #1999 Region: SA
Moderators, please, Official server # 1999 PvP SA is unplayable, the server kicks everyone out over and over, its getting worse each day since the Pet Update, you literally can’t do nothing and when you try to do the server kicks you out and you loose whatever progression you were doing. Sometimes it happens in a window of minutes, and sometimes even in about seconds, in the past 5 minutes it happened 3 times in a row before it could complete 1 minute after each disconnect.
I beleive this is due to the Event Log, each time someone opens it, the server lags, making you not be able to interact with objects for some seconds til the Event Log loads for the player that opened it.
For the love of the Hyborian Gods, take a look on the server to see how bad the situation is, I’ve been asking this for a long time since back when the server start suffering from Eternal Loading&Death Screen, the hardware never got changed as it was said it would, clearly the hardware is the same when it was launched at the May8 week because the performance is not the same as the others in the same region.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

Play and try to interact with objects for sometime, open B to see player list empty
Someone suggested it was the Event Log, but we had various members of our community “spam” emptying their vault and refilling it; all at the same time. The Server FPS did not dip during this test. So I am unsure if it relates to the new Event Log.
It may be something else alongside with the Event Log, but I know it contributes to this problem because I tested it with clan mates, when you open it, while it loads, players can’t interact with anything, the server behaves like it is going to crash, then come back right after, while this happens, the player list shows empty.
Possibly in that case then, we have not been able to produce this issue on Solitude; probably due to its hardware. Thanks for the feedback though. We just need Funcom’s help at this point. Game sometimes reaches unplayable states for many of us and has caused some of our EU community to stop playing our server due to the performance issues and their ping after the update.
Indeed, the worst part, is that I know this server 1999 was added in the first week 1 or 2 days after day 8 on May, because of the demand since SA had only 3 servers, then the infinite loading&death screen problems happened, Jens said the servers was in the process of changing the hardware to solve that problem.
All the SA servers got the new hardware but not the #1999, because you can see clearly the difference on the performance between them. From time to time, I’ve been asking here on the forums for attention on this matter, now after the Jhebbal and Pet updates, the situation got a lot worse, and we are kinda desperate because its impossible to play with these new problems.
I even sent private message for Tascha, Jens and other moderators, Tascha with all her kindness answered me saying she would contact Gportal to check the server, she may have did so, but the server never got any better.
Now I am here again, trying to get their attention, its hard because it seems im the only one from that server that keep trying to alert them of its problems, the population there is not so high due to its problems tho. I feel very sad because I love the game, but won’t start all over in another server.
I’ll have Gportal look into the server’s performance as a start. We can then take it from there.
I’ve also noted down the general decrease in performance since we added the event log.

Thank you very much for the reply Tascha, but please, make sure they do this time, I’ve sent you a private message back in August saying about they did not changed the hardware of the server, if you test performances from the other SA servers (1997) for exemple, its performance is way better than 1999, meaning that 1999 doesnt have SSD.
If you can confirm when they do the change it would be great to know.
I and the poor players that steadly keeps playing on the server are eager for the improvement
