Server Mass Disconnecting player but not crashing

Type of issue: Misc mass server disconnects
Server type: PvE
Region: US


I don’t have a lot of information about it, however just wondering if anyone else is having this issues since the funcom patch debauchery of deketo, where the server is mass disconnecting people, I am not all that familiar with reading logs but these appear everytime it kicks people possible the error is further up in the logs as well. If anyone has any clue or able to point me in a direction I would appreciate it. I replaced peoples ip address with (…) and SteamAuthTicket with (…) as it was really long Thank you.

We have exactly the same issue on our modded PvE Server. Do you play with Mods @lokiuoi ?

Yes we do, and for the life of me can not figure it out, except that i came at the same time as the funcom patch.

That’s the same experience I made. The same mods on my server are working without any issues on other servers. The Modders are very experienced and do working with the actual Devkit. They tested their mods in the Devkit and their own Testservers and didn’t found any issues.

I am waiting for the Testlive update going live. I have the strong suspicion that the cause are loading issues of the environment and playsr structures. The kick off gets announced by a freezing of the stamina bar and a strange behavior nearby NPCs/monsters.
On Testlive loading of player structures and environment is much faster and more reliable than on live. Even teleporting is much faster with instant loading of the environment.

Today every player get kicked off the server as I tried to join the server. The same happened yesterday as another player tried to join. The problem seems to get more worse. The server still thinks the players are online after the kick off and it takes about 10 minutes to rejoin the server.

Tonight the first time we got also 2 Servercrashes next to the Disconnects. Only one player was online and as he paused the game for a few minutes in his base without leaving the server he got kicked off and the server crashed. We had to restart the server because it still was shown in the game menu as online but in Steam offline. We didn’t found anything relevant in the log.
I will recommend every player now not to join the server anymore till the new Hotfix from Testlive hopefully will get live and solves the issue.
