Has anyone noticed in changes since this went into effect?
I really wish I could say that I saw difference, really, but my opinion should not be taken heavily, I play on Playstation and this game performs way better on pc.
Edit. I may have rendering issues and some backflip yet I have some time to float in my base, maybe I am wrong, but I didn’t notice floating the last weeks in my bases
I’ve noticed significantly less thrall, and pet spam since the cap.
So I’d say in that sense it has improved server performance.
I’m sure someone will disagree though.
A server I originally chose to play on was not playable by me, yet a clanmate could do just fine. In fact, it got me to invest in a VPN which did not help. I finally switched to another server where we are today.
When I go back to the same areas on Server 1, it’s completely playable by me. I have only recently begun to test. I have my suspicions they were using thralls as active denial for weak ping/inconsistent ping/bad route clients.
If anything, it is worse on the server I play on. It used to take about 20 seconds to fully render when I logged in, now it takes minutes.
My thrall followers used to be fairly consistent when following/attacking, but now they lag way behind and stand there looking stupid instead of attacking.
