Logged on official pvp server #3876 this morning and I was dead. I had a lot of material and gear on me that took almost three hours to grind. I checked event log and I died from temperature changes as soon as the server restarted (I was logged off at the time) I would put up an image but I just made this account to complain about it because loosing a full set of champion and 76 scraps is not cool when you don’t have control over your death.
This happens all the time. I know it don’t help for what you’ve already lost but from now on log out naked bro. I put all my stuff in a chest everytime I log out. It’s the only way to be 100% sure you’ll still have everything when you log back in.
We’d suggest checking for any temperature effects before exiting the game, as well as depositing all your inventory in a chest in order to prevent any possible loss of items should something happen to their characters while you’re offline. It’s also recommended not to sleep close to heat sources such as furnaces, and be aware that they provide heat even when above or below the area they’ve been placed in.
