I am looking for something that can explain some of the server settings for the Maelstrom. Some kind of guide or list with explanations that can help me better understand how they work. If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be great.
It’s not that I do not understand the settings, but I have some confusion on the numbers or values.
For instance, the number of building pieces needed to get Siege Elders to spawn. The default says 41. Okay, simple enough. But when I did some research on that value, I get the impression that doesn’t mean 41 building pieces, but might actually be a multiplier, meaning 410 pieces. Another example is how much maelstrom creatures can damage buildings. We have a T3 material cabin right outside the Maelstrom and venture out in it to harvest chaos. Sometimes, when the situation looks dire, we retreat out of the Maelstrom back to the cabin, but occasionally get chased by some of the creatures. The guards are able to dispatch them in a reasonable amount of time, but we watch as the creatures can destroy a T3 building piece with one hit. This is a little OP and we would like to adjust it to something a little more manageable. So which way do I adjust it, it seems simple, but the values are not always intuitive.
