I decided to try and give siptah another fair shake. Never really caught on with the map even though I like it (I still say it’s probably a subconscious effect of the heavy color saturation). I also figured “I never build castles anymore.” Everything sandstone I built, the roofs were placed in creative because i’ll be upgrading it all later as I play and didn’t want to mess with that nonsense.
Fate has seemingly decided the course for me though - I swung by ‘grave of the leviathan’ when leaving my spawn location and got a named bearer thrall from the cell there.
EDIT: it is so ungodly frustrating to have to put down an altar crooked because the dreaded ancient nemesis: “not enough contact with ground”
Here is another remake from a long time ago. Thanks to creative mode, it made doing this and the previous builds posts much easier.
This is Skywatch Abby.
My attention span strikes again. While generally enjoying myself on siptah I thought “I wonder how this agility build would fare in EL” so I changed maps and then my brain was flooded with images of some of the Indoril buildings in Mournhold on elder scrolls online for whatever reason. Between that and my deep abiding love for how Nemedian roof pieces make interiors look, I now have this.
The main problem with compulsively building stuff like this is that now I need to figure out how to furnish/decorate it. I’ll gladly use creative mode to upgrade buildings but for some quirk I have to build the walls/layout and all the placeables myself. Guess it feels less like cheating to me.
My GF and I spent several days working on this remake of Stormwatch Keep but on a much larger scale and located in a known location near the central tower of Siptah. It’s not far from the Elephant Graveyard of whom we have taken on the care of these elder elephants who go there to die. But have been constantly harassed by leftovers from the Void.
Our Citadel has been getting a lot of attention from visitors from the Void during the Maelstrom, particularly at the corner of this new citadel closest to the tower. Very intense fighting which ends up looking like the aftermath of a major battle with corpses of various Elder Things and demons who came calling.
This is: Maelstrom Watch Keep
@arthurh3535!
True! Still I love frontier too. What @Azazane choose for wood matches with the white of Argossean. Even Yamatai could look good, because of the “bright” colors! Using other dlcs, like Turan for example, “dark” colors on wood go better, so there I would definitely go in frontier, especially the railed stairs of this dlc are the most used by me, I literally love them, they are so perfect I would even fixed them in real life .
But what @Azazane fixed is perfect, no conversation about it!
