I’ve seen one on a tv show in a jar that was removed from someone, I don’t know what lab/school/hospital has it. It was on an episode of river monsters, coincidentally the same place I first saw that fellow above with the beautiful smile.
So far as I know this is the only example that has any kind of scientific or medical backing.
It is the pacu, and its nickname is not well-earned. The fish uses its strong jaws to eat tree nuts, this led to obvious jokes, which led to media mistaking the jokes as factual warnings (gasp! surely the media would never do such a thing?!), which led to the urban legend.
As for the candiru and its infamous upstream swimming, tales of it doing that abound throughout history, but even the most well-documented case of it happening has many suspicious qualities.
Look… I grow up in an lsland.
My island accepts about 5 mil. People every season.
I grow up on 80s
So if you do this mixture
Island + tourism + 80s = more people were walking half naked or naked than dressed .
So climbing naked? Maybe some fences
Swimming naked? Under the moonlight was status
GLORY DAYS
About this, I ve been told that this is the default looks of crafters. I suggest if possible to change the default avatar of crafters in Monica Bellucci looks and leave it default always .
Remember that one from river monsters(tv show) Fish that eat these berries/(or nutts) that fall from trees into waters… ad they sometimes mistake mens…ahem as said food. XD
PC game wise… Conan Isn’t first.
Console wise… few before it, but often got censored in west. (if were not counting an Atari game…which is one of earliest )
older GTA has cut content, and GTAV has semi…hidden nudity. (not that you can run around as anyway)
I think one that stands out is Watch Dogs, were some kids screen shared a girls bottom half, (which shared to all friend list on PSN) Which got patched out. Not player mind you.
Conan and Cyberpunk are pretty much Console stand outs. (not counting PC games)
I acknowledged Mortal Online as being one of the first. I wouldn’t call games that simply have nudity to be nudist. It is about the context being nonsexual. In that regard, it seems the use of nonsexual nudity is fairly new.
Well, newish in western game media at least. Particularly the U.S. market, which has in the past been pretty hostile to such things. It was naturally one of the grievances brought up during the “violent games make people serial killers” congressional witch hunts back in the '90s, where the worst example brought up was a short scene from one game showing a girl in a nightgown. Then later there was the normally inaccessible “hot coffee” content in GTA, the normally inaccessible topless skin art asset in Oblivion, and the 30 seconds of alien side boob in Mass Effect that got consoles labeled “the sex box” for a while.
Like @Sera67 mentioned, some games did have nudity, sexual or otherwise, but got censored once they hit the western market. One I remember off the top of my head was Final Fantasy VI having to cover up Siren’s naked buttocks. Also the original Witcher game was censored to remove nudity from the character cards you get after the “special encounter” with them as well as covering up naughty bits on some monsters.
Not seeing how this makes the nudity sexual. Having some sexual content isn’t what makes the nudity in a game sexual. In my view it is whether the nudity is exploitative. In that regard, Conan Exiles doesn’t seem like that.
True, but I am being more precise. I am referring to games in which nudity is “normal” in a certain sense. I am distinguishing it from exploitative scenarios. I would look at it in a similar way to Elder Scrolls 2 nudity, and how that was handled, though I think it was Mortal Online that explicitly marketed that nudity was an element in the game, that wasn’t explicitly about sex, and was faithfully implemented into the game. In this regard, it is a fairly new phenomon in my mind.
