I’ve been seeing this bug for a while (since summer). A trebuchet placed on top of a building will loose stability and be destroyed sooner or later.
I placed 5 trebuchets on top of some ceilings and watch. Two days after I placed the 5 of them were gone.
Then I placed another one on top of some foundations and kept and eye with a hammer. First day was fine. Second day when I check the Siege Foundation And was super damaged (only 100 HP left) but cannot repair, no matter the materials nor the hammer, kept with super low HP.
Third day (yesterday), I check it again and the Siege Foundation was “magically” healthy again, full HP bar and >160h to decay.
Today the Trebuchet was gone. The foundations and everything still there, but the Siege Foundation, check the log:
I think it has something to do on how the structures are loaded into the server, like the trebuchet loads before the foundations, so it finds itself “floating” in the air and get destroyed. Some useful information is that it was sitting on top of a wall surrounding a quite big castle.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
- Place a trebuchet on top of some building (foundations, for instance)
- Wait a bit, reviewing every now and then and even standing on top of it to make sure it refresh the decay timer
- See it gone one day.
