Sinners Refuge NPC’s spawn is bugged.. sometimes they spawn so late that they appear in my back when im at the last room already
Yes - I’ve had this exact problem every time I go there (as have others) - the two crafters in the middle under the bridge spawn really late and so do the two dancers to the left of the entrance into the final chamber. (Also the Mitra Priest/Asuran often spawns late or not at all.)
I will will have to check on Playstation have not been there lately
Hopefully it should be working normally on playstation - that would help prove it is a new bug with CEE (which I think it is - certainly I’ve reported it, and only had it with CEE, but maybe it is something that was already happening so that would be useful data to add if it is happening for you as well).
i think the issue is that they are spawning undermech just like the black blood tools bat is doing, and they only come up if we aggro the ones that are above mech… if i try not killing them fast the others tend to appear…
While that is possible, I’ve also been there when some of them appear and it looks more like they are spawning in rather than ‘popping up’ from the floor. Doesn’t mean that couldn’t be possible, but it looks more like late spawning to me.

this confirms the feeling @Alex23 & I had
Ive had slow load times for the npcs by the bridge- but named thralls are still appearing when i do go there. Scooping em up like smarties!
When I’ve gone into Sinners refuge a second time, I heard those mysterious foot steps walking around again with no NPC in sight. (So, yeah, turn the music off and LISTEN).
This time I was ready and listened to their footsteps as they walked around in that space. One well placed noxious gas arrow revealed them when they died inside of the rock they were walking. When I came back through, I found their corpse laying next to the rock where they died.
Oh but that wasn’t the only one though that was (seemingly) stuck. I was ambushed from behind by at least two others who mysteriously appeared out of nowhere. (Apparently hiding in the rocks). I was fortunate to have my lvl 20 sabertooth following me as my backup.
But this is not the only time or the only place this happened. It happened in Gallman’s tomb and on Siptah too before the upgrade was shot out at us.
It’s not really a new “thing”. But seems almost like a new feature, as if it was intended. But it sure as hell came into vogue by succeeding in getting more folks attention.
It’s not the first time or the only place where I’ve heard mysterious footsteps or the hiss and growl of a crocodile or other strange noises that seem to come from out of nowhere.
Go look at where I posted this from : ( category “terrain & environment” )
