Transfers without gear would solve practically everything that could be exploited between the maps and p2W (because eldarium requirements would limit most of the siptah gear and I don’t think anyone would consider vagabond armor as OP…except someone like me that would see the logistics benefits of scaling like spiderman and swimming like aquaman…especially with agility 3 active)
And Siptah cannot be used by anyone who has not PAID an ADDITIONAL fee to obtain that map, so this entire post is a moot point.
Except they did not “bring about” any situation other than the one you invented in your head. So that’s a you thing, not a Funcom thing.
I can go on for days about the mistake made with Age of Conan, none of them are even remotely relevant to the discussion here however. You certainly do show a pattern of making up wild fantasies though don’t you?
It COULD be easily fixed. If people weren’t have their characters go POOF into the aether upon transfer from time to time to name other issues with the system. Yes, once they figure that all out they should bring transfers back and for pvp there certainly should be restrictions as well. But it is not such an easy fix as you make it out.
Yeah I am very sorry to hear that @Palm523. That is the main reason I was saying it was not an easy fix. IF they can fix that issue, and put restrictions on how many items / what items can be transferred on pvp, then I would agree that it would be the best solution.
The problem is they don’t want to fix it. If they wanted to fix it they would ask the genre creator Studio Wildcard for help. The only reason I can see FC not wanting their help would be pilfered coding which would explain a lot.
Yes, keep up those wild fantasies of yours. Because you know, every single company uses the exact same codes right? The delusions are strong with this one.
It can’t be and it isn’t. This event is temporary. The new “Dungeon” if it can even be called that is also going to be temporary. The map can’t handle the permanent addition of more terrain but it can handle temporary events.
Then why add it the first place? Ask yourself that because it would be a waste of resources and money?
I play conan since the prewiev and i not want too go back too the exils land i was ther way too long. on siptha i have way more endgame stuff too do and i can stop purges on my base and i getting aquilonion and asier crafters so no i not want back in exil lands wher 75 % of the map have enemies that i 1 shot at level 60! Siptha need too be included whit all that content because i play alone so even ive server transfer woud come back i woud lose my base on siptha . We need a option too travel too siptha and exil lands . Like how like a transport stone that teleport me from siptha too mek and i can accses the new area plus the new event and after it back too siptha
On top on siptha all resources can be found evrywher so no yerk walling in the brimstone lake or all peopels living around the mound of the dead becaus thats the only area that have a kind of endgame enemies
This would have been a shining time for server transfers to make their triumphant return…
Siptah isn’t being ignored, it will have it’s own journey steps in that overhaul.
But that’s somewhat small.
This one hopes that access to the event (if not story) will be thru ascending the Tower. An admittedly improbable hope.
Siptah does feel, to this one, painfully unfinished.
No way to (safely) pop the bracelet and leave the island.
No way to ascend the Tower to see that there is nothing in it.
At least one faction is a carbon copy of a faction on the Exiled Lands, but with a single serial number filed off. The others at least have their own spins on the outfit.
So many very good things there… The Vaults, the Grey ones (both pools and ruins), named beast followers.
The story building, if one combs the whole main island is excellent…
Yet so many spots feel like something was supposed to be there, and isn’t.
The Exiled Lands has that last issue in a few places, but significantly fewer. Also, the Exiled Lands are still be developed.
Siptah, as DLC, it is questionable whether there will be anymore development. It will be maintained (in the way of alternate maps), bug fixes, integration of game wide events, ect… But will it see anymore growth?
This one worries that it will remain forever in it’s liminal state.
The Stormglass Cathedral set in the Bazaar is basically the fibre that this one holds onto that they may revisit the island, ever.
Its quite easy actually and it got explained by the devs during the stream. That Mekamoses is a Npc of the Exiled Lands and therefore the story based on him is happening on Exiled Lands. It makes sense story wise.
My personal opinion: Chapter events should be completely accessible on all official maps. No matter if EL or Siptah. They should focus on creating neutral story events that are not based on only one map or one specific character, except that character can be found or transfered to all maps equally. People should be able to play the events on the map of their choice.
The devs said the Exiled Lands would not be expanded any more because it can’t handle it. (Or something to that effect). However their is some wiggle room for a dungeon. So do they make 1 dungeon and never add anything again? Or do they add rotating dungeons that come and go? What adds more content over time? By making temporary dungeons that only exist when the event is active and then cycling thru events both old and new they are able to add more content on a map that is at its limit.
That is why.
awesome, actually iam only playing on siptah and if the new season affects the exiled lands only, we need back the server transfer option. I can leave everything and rebuild but not my unique character with all unlocked recipes -_-
I’m with @CodeMage here. The Exiled Lands is the base game, the Isle of Siptah is a DLC expansion pack, just like Solstheim is to Skyrim, Far Harbour is to Fallout 4 and Toussaint is to The Witcher 3. I would even go further and argue that Siptah seemed to be getting more resources than the Exiled Lands for a time. For example, the Exiled Land only has 11 dungeons compared Isle of Siptahs 14 vaults. Not to mention that Siptah has both Delving and Convergence, a rescue system, Eldarium items.
The new content is available on Sipta. Just not the story line that is reliant on the NPCs. I’m all for map connections. They should be connected.
I have to agree with this. I play both maps regularly but often find myself leaning more on Siptah just cause there is more to do there. May seem unfair to those that only play Siptah but EL really does feel like it needs more features added to it.
That being said if that can’t expand EL what’s the point of adding to it? They can still expand Siptah but instead focus on a map going nowhere.

Its worth noting that Dennis did not refer to it as a dungeon. Its also worth noting that the vaults are only accessible on Siptah and Warmakers/Black Keep/Sunken City/etc are only Exiled Lands. Also the religion trainers and Mek-kamoses are only EL. Everyone who owns Siptah has the EL map too. The new “area” is story driven. If there is no story driven element to put it on Siptah then there is no reason to have it there.
Except that if someone has a character in Siptah, they are unable to “visit” EL. We can only have one character per server. Forcing someone to end their game and start a new game on a different map is not something that should be done solely to unlock stuff.
If the new stuff requires unlocking/mats, then they need to be available on both maps simultaneously.

not something that should be done solely to unlock stuff.
You are NOT unlocking anything…
To clarify for everyone, I’m not sure what you’re thinking will happen… but as far as I understood this will be the equivalent of the current witch-hunt encounters or chapter 1 events in terms of magnitude…
It’s going to be an EVENT basically in a new area…
While they didn’t specify the size of the new area, based on previous event Chapters and the “beating around the bush” references they made to it, I don’t think it’s going to be a sizeable area… my guess would be much smaller than a dungeon… like… room-size area with a boss in it pretty much.
Though I could be totally wrong, however I’d be surprised if this was the point where they suddenly expended the map or something along those lines, else you wouldn’t need a special event transportory stone to get there and could just use a horse
So I’m not sure what kind of content you’re actually expecting… but Siptah will have all the new mechanics… which are:
- Journey revamp
- Ability to harvest blood crystals with their guardians spawning
- Golem knowledge and creation with various parts and workstations (this is the major content one)
- New battle-pass with the fancy armor-stand and whatnot…
What you will NOT get:
- Some crazy dude saying a few voice lines when you talk to them alongside a chick wiggling and swearing cuz she’s tied to an altar…
- Solar eclipse instead of a night time…
- A special transportory stone taking you to some boss-room and what is most likely a repeatable equivalent of all the witch hunt / chapter 1 events…
Is this really something to go to war over with Funcom?
We all only have 1 character per server but each server only covers one map so I fail to see the issue here. El stuff stays in El and Siptah stuff in Siptah. This story element is El ergo it’s El stuff and not accessible in Siptah
