Issue is not happening anywhere else just that area.
If you sit there for about 5-10 minute in afk camera mode it will also freeze.

Used process monitor to check what’s going on when it freezes in that area… I see this just before it happens:

I’m not sure though if that TCP Disconnect is from me force closing the game or the freeze though.
Just did a game file integrity check and it reported all 1121 files successfully validated. Is there a missing .gtp file for this update that someone forgot to ship and code still references it causing the freeze? Seems like it to me.

It might actually be Battle Eye that’s causing the issue… going to single player test with it disabled.
Nope froze again almost immediately. However this time I actually waited and got the crash event.

Did you read the latest hotfix patch notes? They are aware of the issue. Problem is why are they taking so long to fix it. Lots of people are stuck in that area and unable to play.
Dead game, thats why. The jokers at Funcom are just milking money from here for Dune so don’t expect much effort from them.
And Dune will probably suck even worse! SAD!!! Not gonna touch Dune at all … Bought Baldur’s Gate 3 … still working on the weird keybinds but … no battle pass … no cash shop … Kudos Larian!!!
So don’t hold your breath that they care … As long as the game can still be played Offline as Single player … i wont feel so bad buying all the DLC’s … I can always come back and tinker with it …
